WESTERPLATTE. THE DEATHS CREW

This 100 pages story is a reconstruction of 7 first days of II World War – defense Polish military base located near Gdansk City from German attack. Screenplay has made by Mariusz Wójtowicz-Podhorski. This graphic story shows many details, which are often very sensational and unknown, of fighting few polish soldiers surrounded by thousands of Germans, attacked by battleships, bombers and heavy artillery. Many important newspapers have interested WESTERPLATTE and I was very glad that comics as art appeard in media, what in Poland wasn’t common so far.  One of the main weekly newspaper WPROST, gave WESTERPLATTE second position on list of comics bestsellers 2004 year.
