EXHIBITION OF POLISH COMICS IN PORTUGAL

During XX International Comics Festival in Amadora in Portugal  (23.X - 8.11 2009) took place quite big exhibition of polish comics artists. You can see there a few of my graphics among a lot works of other polish drawings...

COVER FOR ALBUM "1981 - KOPALNIA WUJEK"

Cover for next historic album of Zin Zin Press publishing. This story is about  16 December 1981 when Police and Military killed 9 and wounded 21 striking miners of "Wujek" mine. Introduction for this album was wrote by Lech Walesa - leader of "Solidarity" and ex-president of Poland.

I was invented by Zin Zin Press publishing to make cover for graphic story "1956 - POZNAŃSKI CZERWIEC". Album was published by Polish Ministry of Culture.  You can see the whole cover by clicking on thumbnail.

"THE IDIOTS" ON  3th  PLACE IN COMPETITION IN FRANCE !

Graphic story "Les IDIOTS" ("The Idiots") took third place in second edition of First European Comics Contest organised in France by GLENAT and ARTE television! For this contest was sent over 600 projects from 18 countries.

"WESTERPLATTE. ZAŁOGA SMIERCI" ON  2nd  PLACE ON THE LIST OF BESTSELLERS OF THE YEAR 2004 IN "WPROST" !

Graphic novel "Westerplatte. Załoga Smierci" was placed in second position on list of  bestsellers by "WPROST", after newest album of adventures of Thorgal - "Kriss de Valnor"
